#TeamCecil attended The Woodlands Republican Women’s Luncheon on Wednesday, July 8th, with featured guest speaker Pct. 3 Constable, Ryan Gable, who spoke to the crowd about the state of their office since the covid-19 outbreak.

Mr. Gable began by stating that since April, both arrests and patrol incidents have gone up in Montgomery County. Since the covid-19 pandemic began back in March, evictions have gone down because of government assistance. Also, apartment complexes are not filing eviction processes until the end of August. “Montgomery County is taking this very seriously, but we also want everyone out enjoying themselves and we are going to continue to offer public safety,” Gable said.

All aspects of the department have been completely back in business for the last few weeks. The Montgomery County constables office will continue to make sure the city is safe and work with the community. We ask that everyone please keep the constables office in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Did you know?… If you get pulled over, the constables office recommends to put both hands on the wheel. Also, if you are carrying a handgun in your vehicle, it is not required by law to let a police officer know; however, it is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all law enforcement officers who are helping the community during these tough times; we really appreciate you all!

#TeamCecil had a wonderful time with the Woodlands Republican Women.
